Quotation and Payment Terms

Website prices are starting estimates, not automatic offers. A valid Private Machine Works order begins only after S&D Florida Services LLC issues a written quote or scope, the customer accepts it, and the approved payment is confirmed through Stripe.

Written scope controls

The written quote identifies the system, included configuration, customer responsibilities, separately stated services, shipping or delivery method, warranty boundaries, support, and approved pre-tax subtotal. Hardware quotations normally expire after seven calendar days because component cost and availability can change.

Tax and final total

Applicable sales tax is calculated from the customer’s delivery destination and the separately classified products and services. Stripe Checkout displays the tax and final charged total before the customer submits payment. Tax is not retained as Private Machine Works revenue.

Payment and procurement

Private Machine Works does not order hardware or reserve substantive service time until the required payment is confirmed. Stripe-hosted Checkout collects card information; Private Machine Works does not receive or store full card numbers. No separate card surcharge is added.

Recurring services

Monthly care plans are optional and are activated under a separate recurring-service authorization. A one-time system Checkout does not silently enroll the customer or substitute for that authorization.

Changes, cancellations, and refunds

Scope changes require written approval. Cancellation, return, restocking, custom-configuration, travel, and refund treatment are governed by the accepted written quote or statement of work. Custom-configured equipment and completed professional services may have different return rights than unopened standard goods.

AI limitations

AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Private Machine Works provides technology and configuration, not legal, medical, accounting, emergency, or other licensed professional advice. Qualified human review remains required for consequential decisions.
